Itinerary

First day:  First day:  Leave for Pô, a town on the Ghanaian border, making a stop in Kombissiri to visit the famous mosque.   Continuing on to Tiebélé, you will meet the Gourounsi people and see an original architecture rich in colours.
During a refreshment break, you will be able to see some traditional dancing.
 Back on the road towards Pô where you will arrive in the afternoon. After checking into the hotel, there will be a chance to explore the “Nahouri Peak”.  Finally, there will be time for dinner and a good night’s sleep.

Second Day:  an early breakfast and departure for the Nazinga Ranch.  Arriving at Nazinga, you will check into the hotel before heading out on a safari where you will discover many animal species.
A picnic lunch will be provided and in the afternoon you will return to the hotel. There will be an evening of various activities and dinner.

Third Day:  After breakfast, we will head towards Gaoua, making a stop in Léo and then in Diébougou to visit the old German fort dating back to World War I.   After lunch, we will continue on to Gaoua where we will check into the hotel in the afternoon. We will then visit the town and return to the hotel for a relaxing evening and dinner.

Fourth Day:  Breakfast will be followed by a visit to the Poni museum and the local market.  We will then head to Banfora, making a stop in Obire to meet some Gan people who live in total isolation from the modern world and who still live as they traditionally have for countless generations.

After Obire, we will go to Loropeni to visit the ruins of an old fort of which the origins are unknown.
After lunch, we will head to Banfora and check into the hotel in the afternoon.  There will be time to visit the town and relax before dinner.

Fifth Day:  After breakfast, we will head to the Karfiguela waterfalls, the Fabedougou rock domes and finally the town of Sindou about 50 kms form Banfora.  There, we will explore the “Peaks of Sindou” and have a picnic lunch.  In the afternoon, we will return to Banfora and then continue on to Bobo-Dioulasso for a relaxing evening and dinner.

Sixth Day: Breakfast will be followed by a visit of the city: the old mosque, the old quarter of Dioulassoba and the mausoleum of Guimbi Ouattara, a famous historical figure.  A short trip out of the city to visit the sacred catfish of Dafra – a place of worship in the traditional Bobo culture.

There will be lunch and a rest and in the afternoon, we will visit the village of Koro perched on a rocky hilltop.

Then back to Bobo for a relaxing evening and dinner.

Seventh Day:  Breakfast and a free morning before an afternoon departure to Ouagadougou. On the road, we will stop in Boromo for refreshments and again in Bazoulé to visit the sacred crocodiles.

We will arrive in Ouagadougou in the afternoon.
